My journey has taken me from the analytical world of private equity to the cutting edge of AI research, and I love every minute of it.
My Research Journey
I am an independent researcher with a BSc in Physics, passionate about exploring the frontiers of computational complexity and artificial intelligence. My research interests lie at the intersection of physics-inspired machine learning, mechanistic interpretability, and understanding the systems nature of intelligence.
My work focuses on leveraging principles from physics and advanced data engineering techniques to tackle complex problems in AI. I'm particularly interested in:
- Developing physics-inspired ML/DL algorithms - Because nature has already solved many of the optimization problems we're working on!
- Advancing mechanistic interpretability in neural networks - Understanding not just what these models do, but how and why they work
- Exploring the emergence of intelligence in complex adaptive systems - Investigating how intelligence arises from simple rules and interactions
My Approach
I believe the most interesting discoveries happen at the boundaries between disciplines. Whether I'm diving into the mathematical elegance of chaotic systems, exploring how Hopfield networks can model market behavior, or designing control systems for biological oscillators, I'm always looking for those "aha!" moments where different fields suddenly click together.
My goal is to contribute to our understanding of the self-organizing principles and nonlinear dynamics that underlie both natural and artificial intelligence. It's ambitious, sure, but someone has to try to figure out how this beautiful, complex world really works!
Beyond the Research
When I'm not buried in papers or coding up new experiments, you'll find me tinkering with practical AI solutions that actually help businesses run better. There's something deeply satisfying about taking cutting-edge research and turning it into tools that make people's work lives easier and more efficient.
